NEC deadline calculator
Choose your contract form and the event, enter the date it started from, and get the date the contract gives. Where a period is set in the Contract Data, you enter it.
Good to know
Can I rely on the date?
Use it as a check. It uses the standard periods unless you enter your own, and your Contract Data, Options and Z clauses can change them. If a date matters, read your contract, and take advice if it is disputed.
Do I count from the day of the notice?
Each result says what it is counted from. For clauses that depend on awareness, that is when you became aware, so keep a record of that date.
Why are some clocks only shown after a failure?
A treated acceptance under 61.4, 62.6 or 64.4 runs only once the Contractor has notified the failure to reply. Without that notice, nothing is treated as accepted.

Contract Status works out these dates and references for you on every contract, with your own periods and clauses. See the guided tour.
