Exceptional weather: notifying the event
Contractor side: Compensation events
Where the contract stands
Only if the numbers pass. Under 60.1(13) what counts is a measurement for the calendar month at the place named in the Contract Data, which the weather data shows happens less often than once in ten years. Your site experience shows the effect, not the event, and only the difference from the one-in-ten figure counts.
Read the guide: Bad weather as a compensation event and Proving a weather event
This is our plain-English summary, not legal advice. Your own contract, including any Z clauses, decides.
In Contract Status, step by step
Warn if it could affect the job
Weeks of rain threatening Completion is worth an early warning whatever the final figures say. The form is the same one used for any matter.

Early warning first, if the effect could reach the Prices or Completion.
Notify with the figures
Choose + Add on Compensation Events, pick the weather clause from the list and put the recorded figure against the one-in-ten value in the details. Attach the supplier's figures and your site records.

NCE-0009: 168 mm recorded against a 132 mm one-in-ten value.
What the Project Manager sees
The same record, from the other side. The banner says the reply is overdue and what you can now do, and the main button is Reply.

NCE-0009 from the Client side.
What it does not do: Contract Status does not fetch weather data or test the figure for you. You compare the month with the weather data, then record the result.
All screens are from the upgraded app, using a fictional water company, Kestrel Valley Water, and its made-up contractors.
What happens next on the other side
The Project Manager replies within a week: Request Quotation if the event stands, or Rejected with a reason. If the reply is late, you have the same notice route. In this example the reply is overdue, so the banner offers you the notice.
See it on a contract you can click through
The guided tour lets you walk the same fictional account yourself. Or book a demo, and bring the situation you are dealing with.
